4 Fore 30

4 Fore 30 is a standard Backyard Ultra and adheres to all the race rules. Anyone can be a winner.

At 7:00am everyone will line up at the start and have 1 hour to complete the 4.1667 mile loop around the golf course. Go as fast or as slow as you want, just be done in an hour, because... at 8:00am everyone lines up to do the next loop. At the top of each hour, the process repeats until there is only one person remaining. The race could be over in a few hours, or could go for days! Our first year the winner went 22 hours. In 2019 the winner went 27 hours. In 2020 the winner went 38 hours!

This is a race that's as much mental as it is physical. If you want it the most, you can win it. However, it's not all about winning. We want people to move out of their comfort zone. Never run more than a half marathon? Enter and commit yourself to completing at least 4 laps. Never more than a full marathon? Start off with a goal of at least 7 laps. This is about self-achievement....and fun!
